The Roaring 20s is an American drama series that aired on the ABC network beginning on October 15, 1960, and ending on September 21, 1962.
Dorothy Provine stars as Pinky Pinkham, the singer at the Charleston Club, in this hour-long series that dealt with newspaper reporters from the fictitious New York Record, such as Scott Norris (Rex Reason), Pat Garrison (Donald May), Duke Williams (John Dehner), and copy-boy Chris Higby (Gary Vinson). Mike Road played police Lieutenant Joe Switoski.
Guest stars included Chris Alcaide, Whit Bissell, Ronnie Dapo, Andrew Duggan, Keith Larsen, James Millhollin, Gregg Palmer, Sue Randall, Harry Dean Stanton, Randy Stuart, and Joan Tompkins (as Celia Morton in the episode "Layoff Charley").
In its first year, The Roaring Twenties faced competition from the Top 20 hits Perry Mason on CBS and Bonanza on NBC. In the 1961-1962 season, however, Bonanza was shifted to Sunday, and Dale Robertson's Tales of Wells Fargo moved into the time period opposite The Roaring Twenties.
